Gwinnett County declares April 2019 Second Chance Month
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has issued a Proclamation declaring April as Second Chance Month. In its proclamation, the Board recognized the collateral consequences that are associated with a criminal record such as unemployment and homelessness. In addition to raising awareness, the Proclamation urges citizens to extend Second Chances to men and women returning from jails and prisons.
